Cracking the Story Code
James Bonnet
January 21st, 2012
12:30pm
In this session of the Scriptwriters Network, James Bonnet will
present a preview of his forthcoming book, Cracking the Story Code,
and describe the hidden structures all great stories have in common.
James Bonnet will talk about the enormous power possessed by these
hidden patterns and reveal how screenwriters and novelists can use
this new story knowledge to transform their original ideas into
successful stories that make a powerful psychological connection
and have universal appeal.
James
Bonnet is an internationally known writer, teacher
and story consultant.
He was elected twice to the Board of Directors of the Writers Guild
of America and has written or acted in more than forty television
shows and features.
The important new ideas about story in the second edition of his
book, Stealing Fire From The Gods: The Complete Guide to Story for
Writers and Filmmakers, are having a major impact on writers in
all media.
His new book, Cracking the Story Code, will be ready for publication
in the fall of 2012.
